3D Modeling and Unity Simulations as Learning Environments
With the outbreak of COVID-19 and closure of on campus teaching, I transitioned my classes online through a combination of Zoom lectures and active engagement activities. One of these activities included exploring 3D modeled environments that I made in Blender and Unity for students to to explore. Originally, these environments were made to be used with the HTC Vive and Oculus Quest virtual realtiy headsets, but I re-programmed the playable character for students to access the module online using WebGL.
